The Wire EDM excells in producing cuts on parts at a very high tolerance and surface finish using electric spark discharge. It also is capable of small intricate shapes that no other method of machining can reproduce with high tolerances. Tolerances and repeatability as low as .0002" are routine for our AGIE Classic 2.
Die sections and punches are it's specialty, with the ability to cut land and taper.
Parts up to 250mm thick (9.8") can be cut, with up to 30° taper.
